Профессионально Лив Кристин занялась музыкой, став участницей группы Theatre of Tragedy. В 1997 году она познакомилась с продюсером Гюнтером Илли (Tatort, Schimanski, Welt der Wunder) и начала свою сольную карьеру (дебютный альбом Deus Ex Machina).
